RESIDENTIAL WHCS / CLIENT AGREEMENT & POLICIES:
SERVICES:
WHcleaning's policy is to ensure that you receive the best and most detailed cleaning service possible. Our niche is to provide a service that exceeds your expectations and surpasses our competitors. We believe that open communication is key to any relationship and is highly encouraged throughout our partnership together. WHCS employees show up at your home/office fully prepared with all supplies, tools and a very detailed work order with your specific requests to get the job done efficiently, effectively and environmentally friendly. We offer “perfectionist cleaning services” for the INSIDE of your home or office. We do not clean outside patios, barbeques, patio furniture, garages or outside windows. Our focus is the inside of your home. We will tidy as we go, but will not reorganize your closets and cupboards unless by special request. We will change bedding and towels, but will not do the laundry, ironing or mending. We will unload the dishwasher, wipe down the kitchen, buff appliances, clean the stove and fridge, but generally speaking will not do the dishes, cooking, child minding, clean up pet/human waste or answer your door or phone. The easiest distinction is to consider us as House Cleaners, not House Keepers. Special one-time “Spring” cleaning is available for inside windows, fridge, stove, cupboards, walls, closets etc. It is highly recommended that a separate cleaning be booked for items of this nature.
PAYMENT:
For all residential accounts, full payment is due on or before the day of the cleaning. Payment for your first cleaning is due in CASH; subsequent cleanings can be paid by cash or cheque whichever is more convenient for you.
Please leave your payment in the sealed WHCS PAYMENT envelope on your kitchen counter, envelopes will be provided in advance. Cheques can be made out to MELINDA ILLYES. Note that 12% HST will be included to the amount due on all accounts. You will receive a receipt the same day(if required), which is exchanged in a sealed envelope. WHCS staff will pick up your sealed payment envelope at the beginning of the shift and leave you with your receipt and blank payment envelope for next time. Please note that workers do not carry change, make adjustments to amounts due or accept or pickup loose cash or cheques.
PRICES, RESCHEDULING & CANCELATION:
All clients are quoted a price either by the job, or by the hour for their cleaning requirements. When a per/hour price is quoted please note that this is per hour for one person with a 2 hr minimum Monday - Friday. Saturday jobs are scheduled with a 4 hr minimum. We do not work Sundays or Stat. holidays. If/when 2 people are scheduled to clean your home, the price per hour doubles and the job is done in ½ the time. The end result is that you pay the same amount for the same job. All residential cleaning jobs are pre-scheduled throughout the day for the allotted amount of time as determined in the initial consultation. If more or less time is required on any particular day or if you need to re-schedule your cleaning, please notify WHCS within 48 hrs so we can best accommodate your needs.
If you cancel or miss two pre-scheduled cleanings in a row for any reason, or temporarily cancel your account, your quoted price will not be held over for you when you come back. Also, please note that you will be charged a $25 cancellation fee for last minute cancellations (less than 48 hrs notice) or if we cannot gain access to your home. In all cases, rescheduling your appointment during the same week is always the best option.
If you do not require cleaning services while away on vacation, please notify WHCS with as much advance notice as possible. If you will be away for 2 or more regularly scheduled cleanings it is recommended that additional cleaning services such as spring-cleaning or windows be booked in replacement of your regular cleaning to keep your account active and current when regular cleaning is not required. If this is not possible, you have the option to pay ½ of your total due for your regular cleanings to keep your account “active” for as long as necessary.ACCESS & SECURITY:
Access to your home for cleaning will be at your discretion. Whether you leave us with a key and security code, hide a key outside your home the day of, or have someone let us in, know that we treat your home with the utmost respect and privacy. Only one senior WHCS employee will have access to your home (key or code) and will be responsible for securing your home during and afterwards. Keys are returned to the WHCS office in Langley after every shift and are labeled with your first name only for security purposes. All WHCS employees are Bonded, Insured and security checked. WELCOME HOME Cleaning Service is a registered, licensed company.
